Creating scalable and reliable autonomous driving solutions
British- based company Oxbotica, that develops software for autonomous vehicles, announced cooperation with Google Cloud that will facilitate the launch of its independent computer program for clients globally.
The two will work closely to create scalable, reliable independent driving solutions for any enterprise with transport as a substantial element of business. Those include last-mile logistics, light industry and municipal transport.
Oxbotica will be taking advantage of Good Cloud tools like computations, storage, networking, data analysis for development, testing, validation and verification of its self-driving innovation. It will also test Google Cloud’s cyber-security system to make sure Oxbotica’s operations run smoothly.
CEO of Oxbotica says to be excited about partnering up with Google Cloud to bring independent driving solutions to global markets. Gavin Jackson says, that Google Cloud has amazing cloud infrastructure, its innovative technology and AI will power Oxbotica’s offer to the clients.
Google Cloud will be used for generation of digital twins in AI-powered metaverse
Oxbotica also plans to make digital twins in its MetaDriver (a metaverse, that links and manages virtual and physical parks together through sending out real-time analytics on performance) via Google Cloud.
The MetaDriver automatically produces a big number of virtual cases to ensure the safety of independent vehicles. Google Cloud will exchange the data to make sure MetaDriver uses Oxbotica’s AI tools in the vast bank of virtual cases, that might cause discomfort economically, environmentally or physically in conventional testing (for instance, round the clock testing in both seasonal and extreme weather conditions from one single data capture run),
Oxbotica will be able to gather and rapidly analyze the big data, obtained from a variety of different use cases. This will fasten time of analysis, allowing for further testing and experimentation, ultimately leading to technological safety.
The cooperation with Oxbotica and Google Cloud will lead to advances in independent mobility in a number of user cases from last-mile logistics to public transit, says Thomas Kurian.
